State Contest Information
ALL interested teams need to enter a Regional Qualification Horse CDE Event to advance to the next CDE Level. The top 24 teams from regional CDE will qualify to attend the state LIVE CDE. Regional Horse CDE are being held at Platteville, Fox Valley & River Falls.
The registration fee of $115 per team will include 5 tickets to enter MHF. These will be transferred electronically - make sure to include an updated email address in Judging Card.

Overview
Students who participate in the FFA Horse Evaluation Career Development Event (CDE) gain new insights into equine science by evaluating and ranking horses based on breed characteristics, conformation and performance. Participants defend their decisions through oral reasons in front of a panel of judges.
