Jeff Hicken created opportunities for others to learn and grow throughout his life — whether as the Wisconsin FFA State Advisor, an agriculture educator, a father, or a friend.

The Jeff Hicken Memorial Grant was established by his loved ones to continue that legacy. This grant is available to Wisconsin agricultural educators applying to attend the National Association of Agricultural Educators professional development conference for the first time. Applicants from all years of teaching experience are encouraged to apply, provided they have not previously attended the conference. The goal is to support professional growth while bringing valuable learning back to local schools and the agricultural education community.

This grant covers airfare and hotel fees. The registration fee will be covered by the Wisconsin Association of Agricultural Educators for selected individual. Agricultural Educators can apply by June 30:
