License Plate Campaign

The Wisconsin FFA Foundation has officially launched the License Plate Campaign! Through this initiative, Wisconsin FFA is working with the Wisconsin DMV to create a specialty license plate that proudly represents agriculture, our state, and FFA.

Thank you to the Elkhorn FFA Alumni & Supporters for funding the initial fee required to create the Wisconsin FFA license plate. Their commitment and leadership made this project possible

We believe that when we come together, incredible things can happen. Read below to learn how you can get involved and help drive Wisconsin FFA forward.

How the License Plate Supports FFA
Each Wisconsin FFA license plate purchased includes a $25 annual donation to the Wisconsin FFA Foundation. The total cost of the plate is $125, which includes an $85 vehicle registration fee, a $15 insurance fee, and the $25 contribution to the Foundation.

These are fees that must be paid regardless—now with a built-in opportunity to directly support FFA programs and members across Wisconsin.

How You Can Support This Project

The Wisconsin FFA Foundation has now moved into the design phase of the process. The Foundation will be hosting a contest to determine the look of the license plates.

Participants can download the template page here to create their own design and submit their ideas until July 1, 2026 by uploading here.

License plate designs must follow the requirements listed below:

Designs may not cover the space used for words or letters, and the background behind those areas must remain white.
The appearance, size, and font style of the Wisconsin logotype may not be changed and must remain black and red.
