Public Relations Team


 
     
Overview      
  The Wisconsin Association of FFA is recruiting FFA members and collegiate students to help share the celebration of FFA members leading up to and during the Wisconsin State FFA Convention in Madison, WI.

The goal of the public relations team is to provide students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience covering a convention, while also having a media presence for all audiences.

FFA Member Positions      
Ideal candidates should be interested in learning more about the agricultural communications field and excited to share the story of state convention.

HOW TO APPLY: Interested members should fill out the online application by 11:59 PM CST Tuesday, April 8, 2026.

NOTIFICATION: Applicants will be notified within a week of the application deadline.

Leading up to convention, members selected to be on the team will have the opportunity to connect and learn from Public Relations professionals in the ag industry through various learning sessions and meet with other team members! Team members are highly encouraged to attend all sessions. Recordings will be available for those who are not able to attend. More details on presenters will be released soon.


Learning Sessions      
FFA members who are selected to serve on the State Convention Public Relations Team will be requested to join learning sessions leading up to convention. These sessions provide FFA members the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, gaining public relation skills that can be applied to state convention and beyond.

May 13, 2026: 5 - 6 PM
May 20, 2026: 5 - 6 PM
May 27, 2026: 5 - 6 PM
June 3, 2026: 5 - 6 PM
June 10, 2026: 5 - 6 PM
