NEW!!! this year all entries in Wisconsin FFA State Poultry CDE Event, must qualify by placing in top 7 or 8 at a regional competition. (Southcentral, Platteville, Fox Valley & River Falls will host regional contests for Poultry)
DATE: Live Contest on Thursday April 25, 2024
TIME- Registration Starting at 7:30 - 7:45 am at UW Stock Pavilion 1675 Linden Dr - Madison
then to Animal Science Buildings - UW Madison Campus

Overview
Participants in the Poultry Evaluation Career Development Event (CDE) select live meat-type chickens for broiler breeding, evaluate and place live egg-type hens, and rate the finished product by evaluating and grading ready-to-cook carcasses and parts of chickens and turkeys.
