EVENT HOSTUW-Madison Dept. of Meat Science and Animal Biologics
Location: Live Contest will be at NEW Meat Science and Animal Biologics Discovery Building 1933 Observatory Drive
 
The MSABD program will provide everyone with hard hats, frocks, face covering, hairnets, and boot coverings.
*You are not allowed to use your own items.

Overview      
Participants in the Meats Evaluation and Technology Career Development Event (CDE) delve into the science of meat. During this team event, students evaluate beef carcasses for quality and yield grade; identify various meat cuts and place carcasses; and identify wholesale and/or retail cuts.
