State Contest Information
The 2024 Wisconsin FFA Food Science Career Development Event will be a LIVE contest. This contest is open to any FFA team/individual and you do NOT need to prequalify. This CDE will be held on Friday April 19, 2024 at Madison College
DATE: Friday April 19, 2024 THIS IS AN OFFICIAL DRESS CDE
TIME: 8:30 a.m Registration at Main Entrance Contest Start time 9 a.m
LOCATION: Madison College (MATC - 1701 Wright Street - Madison, WI)
No limit of teams that can enter. There is no regional qualification needed for this CDE.

Overview
The Food Science and Technology Career Development Event (CDE) requires students to have an in-depth understanding of food product development, food presentation and food safety issues. Participants also use their sensory skills to solve problems and make sound decisions.
