What is an SAE?
Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) is a student-led, instructor-supervised, work- based learning experience that results in measurable outcomes within a predefined, agreed upon set of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (AFNR) Technical Standards and Career Ready Practices aligned to your Career Plan of study.

SAE for All
SAE for All training is currently being offered to agriculture teachers in preparation for the National FFA 2027 SAE Award Program. Certified teachers will receive digital credentials that the National FFA is holding in high regards.
The National FFA goal is to have 100% of all agriculture teachers/FFA Advisors certified in SAE for All so they have a better understanding of the 2027 SAE Awards. The SAE Awards Program is fully implementing SAE for All in all applications. Beginning in 2027 The National FFA Convention will focus on SAE Awards.
The training is an 8 hour course with Part 1 being in person for 2 hours, Part 2 is 2 hours in person, Part 3 is working on the implementation plan for your school/chapter and Part 4 is a virtual meeting to share implementation plans.
The next Part 1 training will take place at the 2025 WAAE PDC.
Part 1 and Part 2 trainings will be offered at the 2025 Fall Leadership conference.
Part 1 and Part 2 training will be offered at the 2026 Half Time Conference.
The Part 4 virtual meeting dates and times will be shared with the participants that have completed Part 1 and Part 2 training.
It is highly recommended from the National FFA that you complete this training prior to the 2027 SAE Awards to understand SAE for All so you can assist your FFA members in completing the applications.
