The Wisconsin FFA Foundation had announced the addition of the Leadership Partner program, a new opportunity to financially support Wisconsin FFA’s premier leadership program. It complements the existing State Convention Partner, Star Mission Partner and Special Project Partner programs.
The Leadership Partner program streamlines existing leadership sponsorships and offers new recognition opportunities. Funding will continue to aid the priority leadership areas such as Sectional Leadership Workshops and state officer training, and the growth of the program will allow for expanding leadership offerings in the future.
“Wisconsin FFA members stand out in the workplace and in our communities for their excellent leadership skills, which are developed by our conferences and other programs. We are pleased to offer this new way for supporters to get involved with these opportunities,” says Sara Schoenborn, Wisconsin FFA Foundation Executive Director.
Participation in the Leadership Partner program is open to any company or individual supporter who donates between $1,000 and $10,000. The deadline to be recognized for the 2014-15 academic year is March 30, 2014. Support can be pledged by contacting the Wisconsin FFA Foundation office, or by making a secure online gift and indicating “Leadership Partner” in the comments area.
Founding Leadership Partners include AgStar Financial Services ACA, Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association and Landmark Services Cooperative at the platinum level; Wisconsin 4-H/FFA Youth Leadership Fund at the silver level; and BMO Harris Bank, GROWMARK, Inc., Milk Source, LLC and Seneca Foods Corporation at the bronze level.
