Testimonial: Running for State FFA Office was one of the best choices I have made! The experience challenged me to grow personally and professionally, enhancing my ability to communicate and lead others with confidence. Putting on workshops, developing programming, and road-tripping around Wisconsin taught me how to work effectively with a team. It helped me understand the importance of service in leadership, which I am carrying with me as I work to become a doctor. Having this experience on my resume also has opened many doors for me... notably helping me stand out for numerous internships and on my medical school application.
I highly recommend that you consider running for State FFA Office. It's such a great opportunity to step outside of your comfort zone, have a lot of fun, and serve as a role model to FFA members throughout the state. While it's a big commitment, it's also an enriching, fun experience that will change you in ways you might not expect. I look back upon my year as a State Officer with fond memories, and deeply value the friendships I made and lessons learned during my year of service.
